Exploring Opportunities with the Nation's Leading Federal Organizations
The Atlanta University Center Consortium hosted its 3rd annual Federal Government Career Fair on Friday, November 8th, 2024. The fair provided students with the opportunity to meet representatives from federal agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and more, to explore job opportunities, fellowships, and internships. This annual event connected talented students from across the HBCU landscape with representatives from federal agencies and organizations. Participants included students from the AUC and surrounding HBCUs.
We were thrilled to invite attendees to the Fireside Chat at the AUC Robert W. Woodruff Library. The event featured Dr. Stacy A. Dixon, Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence, in a captivating discussion moderated by Mrs. Sophia Leigh, an esteemed officer from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The Fireside Chat’s topic was “Evolving Role of Intelligence in Today’s World.”
The AUCC Federal Government Career Fair is a great opportunity for students to learn about and explore federal career opportunities. By attending the fair, students will gain valuable insights into the federal government and make connections with potential employers.
