Summer Leadership Training

A.T.I. Summer Leadership Training

Aretes. Telos. Integritas.

The A.T.I. Summer Leadership Training is a dynamic summer experience for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) students preparing for impactful careers in public service and government leadership.

Rooted in the timeless values of Excellence (Aretes), Purpose (Telos), and Integrity (Integritas), A.T.I. empowers students through immersive training, mentorship, and hands-on experiences that build the skills and mindset necessary to lead with vision and principle.

Scholars are required to complete an application, which requires a resume, two letters of recommendation, an unofficial transcript, and application response questions. Scholars will commit to two years of training and internship. As an A.T.I. Scholar, you will gain hands-on assistance in preparing for life after degree completion.

The A.T.I. Summer Leadership Training program has expanded its outreach to HBCUs, growing from 19 institutions in the inaugural cohort to engaging students from 33 HBCUs this year. This expansion reflects our commitment to creating inclusive opportunities for leadership development within the HBCU ecosystem.
