A.T.I. Summer Leadership Training
The purpose of the Leadership Training is to prepare HBCU scholars for service within Federal, State, and Local government. Scholars will be exposed to Public Service, through internship opportunities, mentorship, and paid travel. A.T.I. Summer Leadership Training is a transformation program that will, train, expose, and prepare HBCU scholars to flourish in Public Service. Scholars will be required to complete an application process, which requires a resume, two letters of recommendation, an unofficial transcript, and application response questions. Scholars will commit to two years of training and internship. As an A.T.I. Scholar, you will gain hands-on assistance in preparing for life after degree completion.

Things To Know
Scholars will participate in purposeful enrichment and exposure during the 8-weeks. The weeks will be divided between Impact Days, Enrichment Days, and Public Service Days. During the A.T.I. Summer Leadership Training, scholars will enjoy a fully funded trip to the Nation’s Capitol, Washington, D.C.
During the academic year (August–May), scholars will continue enrichment through virtual and in-person training. The stewards of the A.T.I. Summer Leadership Training are committed to curating a supporting environment that emphasizes service, leadership, integrity, courage, and excellence.
Scholars will receive:
